Day 4 ~ Key West

Today is the perfect day we are in downtown key west it is about 11 am and the town is so differen't than it was last night.  The older crowd and tourist are bustling about trying to take in all the Key West history.  We are having breakfast at The Six Toed Cat a quaint little cafe with some umbrella's and outdoor seating.  It is around 75 degrees with a gentle cool breeze.  As I sit across from my friend Lara enjoying a Six Toed fruit punch waiting for my brunch to arrive as well as my Husband Tim.  I have ordered a steak and cheese burrito and Lara has ordered a fruit stuffed french toast.  As I sit there I realize it can't get much better than this.....

What a meal all fresh vegi's the cheeses used in the buritto was amazing.  When I come back here I will defiantly come to The Six Toed cat again.  5 stars for this restaurant!!

We wanted to learn about the town and the history so we took one of the trolley tours, it was a hop on hop off tour.  We learned a lot by going on this tour that we would not have known about.  One of our stops was the Hemingway House, the guy had taste.

Right across the street from his house is a light house that he said he used it's light to find his way home.

Higgs Beach is the first beach I was able to stick my toes into it was beautiful.

We jumped in the car to check into our next hotel for three nights.  It is called the Tranquility Bay Resort.  I have been looking forward to this relaxing part of the trip.  It is PARADISE!!  I am so happy with my choice of hotel.  It is clean the staff is friendly, tranquility and relaxation is the key here.  After a little unpacking we headed to the Tiki Bar for sunset.
