China Town Tour of San Francisco

We went on a tour of China Town in San Francisco and learned the history of China Town. We started at at a tea house and participated in a tea tasting, which was a lot like a wine tasting only hot. They used a black tea and heat the water to 190 simmer the tea leaves for 90 seconds then pour the tea into a ceramic server to serve into the mini tea cups. The leaves are good to do this for three servings and the second serving is even better than the first.
We than made our way one stop was in an alley called Opium Alley and believe it or not one of the main contributors of this alley was Sear and Roebuck. Dad you will be very disappointed to hear this.
We tasted a lot of Dim Sum and ended the tour with a nice dinner at a local Chinese restaurant.
This tour consisted of a lot of walking and not much food was given considering it was a food tour.
