When we arrived the staff were all dressed in casual country clothing and extremely friendly. We were asked if we would like to sit indoors or outdoors we decided to go sit under the umbrellas. As you walk through the restaurant it is very pretty with dark woods and unique seating. Some tables are made of wood with matching chairs, others have plump dark brown leathers chairs. There is ample amount of light with a very country feel to the place. The bar is huge and has a country tavern feel to it. We were seated under one of the umbrella's and given the lunch menu, everything on it looked very appealing. I had a hard time deciding which dish I would try. I ended up ordering the Roasted Red Pepper Bisque with a swirl of marscapone cheese topped with chives. This was so flavorful, smooth topped with the sweetness creaminess of the cheese and the freshness of the chives just added a fantastic finish to it.
Then my dad suggested we should buy a bottle of wine to go with lunch, what a great suggestion since I was buying but, it was fun anyways. The server came out with a book of the different wines I could choose from. Where does one start, maybe the $1300 bottle? I bet that would taste amazing, yeah right I have been noticing rose wines are being added to menu's a lot lately and decided to go with that. What a great choice I made, it was lightly sweet but not over sweet with citrus and lavender hints to it.
I ordered the pan seared crab cakes that came with fingerling potatoes and a pepper, red onion, slaw salad that was topped with a light oily citrus flavor. Awesome I need to make this if I can figure it out. The crab cake was done to perfection, I tasted onions the breading was light and just a little crispy. It was topped with an roumalade sauce. As I write this I want to have lunch all over again. My dad ordered the linguine special with seafood in a tomato sauce. He said it was the best mussels he ever had, yes better than mine.... I am alright with that, for now. His entree also had sword fish, clams, shrimp and calamari in it. I tasted it and loved it.
I give The Table Farm 5 forks!!!! That hardly ever happens but I really could not find fault with anything. The service was good, atmosphere perfect and food Divine.
