Plum Island

Today is saturday November 5th, I have the day off and Tim (my Husband) asked me if I wanted to go for a ride.  Little did he know what he had in mind and what I had in mind were two different things. "I want to go to the beach, I said."  We always do a a september or October trip to the beach but November was a little late for New England.  We ended up going to Plum Island, I love it there, I have only been one other time besides today.  We walked on the beach with our winter coats, it was cold and windy but it did not kill my spirtit of  a beach lover.... I have this thing that every time I go to the beach I must put my toes in the water or it does not count, so i did.  I expected toe numbing coldness but was pleasantly surprised to find that it was warmer than expected.  Until the cool fall breeze hit later, but well worth it.
We went to Bob's Lobster after for a warm bowl of lobster, corn chowder, in a bread bowl. Bob's appears to be a seafood market but is also a small restaurant for meals also.  I devoured my chowder as we watched the sunset over the sea in the near distance.  I also purchased macaroni and cheese with lobster to go, I cannot wait to try that.
